What started as a conversation between two friends who wanted to take positive action to help others, evolved into the creation of Contractors for A Cure.
Sal Novello of Dematteis Construction and Steven Lazzaro of Hellman Electric worked together to form Contractors for A Cure, a non-profit organization that provides men and women in the construction industry an opportunity to join together each year with no other goal in mind than to help support the amazing work of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. It is a place where cutting edge research and revolutionary discoveries happen every day. St. Jude is the only private cancer center in the United States committed to caring for and supporting children with cancer regardless of the family’s ability to pay.
Sal and Steven recently hosted the 3rd Annual Golf Outing at North Hills Country Club. Since it’s inception in 2007 Contractors for a Cure’s sole mission is to assist St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital raise funds to help in the prevention and treatment of catastrophic diseases in children.
