Hellman Electric’s project managers average more than 10 years of heavy construction
expertise and draw on the firm's in-house staff of highly knowledgeable electrical
engineers, computer specialists, draftsmen, estimators, purchasing agents, fleet
maintenance staff and administrative personnel. In the field, our foremen focus on efficiency, productivity and safety and are
in constant communication with both our project managers and our clients.
Steven Lazzaro is President of Hellman Electric Corporation. Mr. Lazzaro is responsible for guiding all policy and procedures for the firm and directly responsible for project management, coordination, scheduling and allocation and maximization of the firm’s resources. With almost two decades of experience in the electrical construction industry, Mr. Lazzaro has managed projects valued from $100,000 to $10 million in all sectors of the transportation industry.
Mr. Lazzaro served as President of the National Electrical Contractors Association, New York City Chapter [NECA New York] in 2008-2010 and concurrently serves as the Association’s Governor. During his tenure as President, Mr. Lazzaro led the negotiation team on behalf of NECA New York to a groundbreaking agreement that included a strategic market recovery program that was available to all of the Association’s members.
Mr. Lazzaro holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York. He is active in Manhattan College’s Mentor Program.
John Eremita is the Chief Financial Officer of Hellman Electric Corporation and
has been with the company for over a decade. With over 24 years of construction
accounting experience, Mr. Eremita is credited with developing company-specific
accounting software, streamlining project information and capital investment growth.
Under his direction, his division maintains detailed job cost summary sheets for
all projects to provide accurate, up-to-date financial pictures for all projects.
Mr. Eremita holds a Bachelor's degree of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, both from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
Allen Cavalluzzi is Executive Vice President of Hellman Electric Corporation. Mr.
Cavalluzzi is responsible for directing Hellman’s Estimating Division.
He coordinates and schedules projects for estimation using a proprietary program
that he developed for the firm. Mr. Cavalluzzi has over two decades of experience
in the electrical construction industry and certified in Building Electrical Design.
Mr. Cavalluzi earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York. He also holds a Certificate in Electrical Design & Construction from New York University's Real Estate Institute.
